CLIMATE CRISIS? Let’s build more roads!

How much of Otterspool Park will be lost? How much more pollution will this new road cause?

  1. Obviously they left out some text. the proper press release is below.

“Liverpool City Council plans a dual carriageway, bus and cycle lane along Sefton Street, Riverside Drive and Jericho Lane. Limited on road parking with metered parking spaces available, along with more seating and tables for people to enjoy the River Vistas.”

    1. Fantastic….The views of the river can be enjoyed with extra noxious air produced by all the extra traffic, with further noise & vibration of course!

  2. OMG I though we were suppose
to be cutting down on fuel omission!. So lots more cars to solve the problem!

  3. I live on Jericho Lane and contacted the council and my MP about the already busyness of my road and the FACT no one drives at the speed limit and HGV lorries all night from 11 -7 in the morning. They replied no money for traffic lights, bumps 30 mph signs. But now the can knock down trees and lighting dig up the road and make it a dual carriage way resiculous!
